On Monday July 13th, Hockey New Zealand held its first coaching webinar. The theme of the evening, Repositioning our Game, was identified by coaches who registered for the event. Discussions centred on adapting our coaching approach to positional play to support long term player development and engagement in our game.

Facilitated by Jamie Carroll, coaches were able to ask questions and gain insights from guest coaches Mark Borgers and Jason Butcher.

We hope you enjoy listening to the recording below and encourage you to land on a couple of takeaways to implement in your coaching to support long term player development and engagement in our game.
