The Coaching of Foundation Players (CFP) Programme, is a National Coach Development Programme providing on going learning opportunities for coaches. It is free to register and coaches will gain access to exclusive online resources and a calendar of pay as you go development opportunities.

The programme is designed for Coaches who have been coaching for more than 3 years and are actively coaching youth and adult aged players through school, club, or association programmes. They are typically coaching school premier or reserve grades, or age group association teams.
It is FREE to register and access online resources. Coaches can then pick and choose workshops and opportunities from the Programme Calendar that will be pay as you go. Coaches who are part of the programme will receive a discount and priority access to workshops.

If you don't have an existing account you will need to make a new one.
Once you login to your online learning account you will be able to click on the Course Catalogue and add the CFP Programme to your online courses alongside a range of other public courses.

Your level of involvement will then be determined by you. Coaches can look at the exclusive online resources and Programme Calendar of opportunities to pick and choose what they attend.
The programme is on-going and online resources and opportunities are updated annually.
You will receive a Programme Calendar that will include everything you need to know about workshops, including when, where, and how to register. This calendar will be on the Online Portal as part of the CFP Programme.
You will automatically access this calendar once you have registered for the CFP Programme and logged into the online portal.
It is free, you get to access exclusive online resources, and if that wasn’t enough, you will be able to pick and choose from a range of workshops at a discounted price.
You will be part of a nationwide programme and receive priority access to workshops including FIH workshops and courses.
There is no accreditation for the CFP Programme.
Coaches wanting accreditation may complete the FIH L2 Coaching Course which will be advertised to all programme coaches once scheduled. Alternatively, coaches may access an online FIHL2 Coaching Course and workshops via the FIH Academy.
