September 25, 2022

Calling all Coaches, Managers, and Players to submit their EOI for the National Indoor Programme and Indoor World Cup

New Zealand is heading to the FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup in Pretoria, at the Heartfelt Arena from 5 to 11 February 2023. This is an exciting opportunity to support the reintroduction of indoor hockey to New Zealand and be part of Indoor Hockey's pinnacle event.

Seeking interested Players, Coaches, and Managers for National Indoor Programmes

Hockey NZ is seeking Expressions of interest (EOI) from players, coaches, and managers to join the National Indoor Hockey Programmes (men & women) including the opportunity to participate at the FIH Indoor World Cup, South Africa February 2023 led by Lead Coach Reiner Vellinga.

The programmes provide a unique opportunity to support individual development and potential exposure to international level competition. These roles are self-funded. All efforts will be taken to subsidise costs where possible.

Coach and Manager EOI Process

All EOI’s for Coaches must be completed by Monday 12th September.

All EOI’s will be reviewed by a panel consisting of National Indoor Lead Coach, Indoor Advisory group Performance Lead, Hockey NZ Participation Manager, and an Independent. If required, individuals may be contacted to provide further information to assist the process.

Notification of appointments from the EOI process for those who have or have not been successful will be sent by the 16th September.
