Registrations Now Open: Connecting Coaches Conference

Registrations are now open for the online Connecting Coaches Conference on the 27th and 28th of November 2020.


Otago Academy of Sport will be leading the two-day online conference with a focus on supporting coaches to build their capacity to be adaptable. All presentations will be recorded and made available to those who register for the conference for an entire year.


The conference is open to anyone, from anywhere, at a cost of NZD$99.

There will be 20 speakers who will make links to the theme of adapting, connecting, creating and communicating as they cover topics ranging from athlete wellbeing, the elite coaching space, athlete voice, youth sport, and Māori and Pacific sporting experiences. The breadth of topics discussed will appeal to those who recognise coaching to be a complex enterprise that requires more than just technical and tactical knowledge.
