Our Development Programmes

The Coach Development Programmes are our primary mechanism for developing our people and bringing the framework to life. It provides the details to how coaches will access development opportunities and what these opportunities will provide.

It provides on-going learning opportunities across the layers to improve coach knowledge and experience and enhance their ability to support their participants. Coaches have the opportunity to move within or between learning opportunities to best meet their needs and the needs of the individuals they are working with.

Below is an overview of the coach development opportunities available, followed by a summary of the Hockey NZ Online Smalls Sticks Programme and Coaching of Introductory Players Programme. Please note the Foundation and Advanced Programmes are currently under development and will be released shortly.
